Voice dictation and voice control for Windows. mumblemuch turns your voice into text, actions, and automation.
One shortcut. Say what you need. Keep going.
No typing. No clicking through menus.
mumblemuch is for people who spend the day in Windows applications and would rather say a thing than type it: controlling Windows by voice.
The more you teach it, the less you have to repeat yourself.
From anywhere on Windows. Press. Speak. Done.
Each mode has its own shortcut. A shortcut can be a keyboard chord, a mouse button, or a gamepad combination. One press starts the recording, one press stops it.
What happens when you speak depends on the mode you pressed. Dictate types what you said. Intent works out what you meant, runs one action, and abstains when it is not clear.
Speak naturally. Clean text appears where your cursor is.
Tell it what you want. mumblemuch takes care of the rest.
Show it once. Let it learn. Ask it to do it again.
All three modes, or more on voice dictation on Windows and what a spoken request can do.
mumblemuch stays out of your way until you need it.
Your words and usage patterns stay on your device. Audio, transcripts and history are kept there, under retention settings you control.
mumblemuch runs locally by default. Run it locally, with your cloud or with mumblemuch cloud.
Configuring a cloud provider sends audio and prompts to that provider for that run alone. No dictated words leave this device unless a cloud provider is configured for that run.
Anonymous usage counts ship switched off. They upload only if you switch them on.
